What happens at camp

Four hours with a coach whose only job is watching you.

Eight players, four hours of coaching from someone whose entire job that day is to watch how you play. The warm-up looks like a casual rally. It isn't — your coach is already taking notes on your grip, your split-step, and the way your weight ends up on the wrong foot at the back of the court.

Then you drill. Dinks, third shot drops, resets, volleys, returns. You hit a lot of balls and you get corrected by name, every rep. Most players walk into a camp expecting to learn how to play pickleball. You walk out knowing the three specific things you need to fix to get to the next level.

A week later a written plan from your coach lands in your inbox: their notes from the day, your weakest patterns ranked, and three drills with reps and frequency. The kind of plan you keep open on your phone at the court.

  • Eight players. Hard cap, not a target.
  • One certified coach, courtside the whole time.
  • Corrected by name on every rep, not lectured at.
  • Real games at the end, with your coach calling adjustments.
  • A written plan the week after, specific to your game.
  • Lifetime access to the players community.

New to the game

The grip, the kitchen, the rhythm of a dink rally. We build the fundamentals so the basics stop feeling like a list of rules and start feeling like the game. If you've played a handful of times and the court still feels bigger than it should, this is the right room.

Roughly DUPR 2.5 and below. If you don't know what DUPR is, that's probably you.

Coming soon

Stepping up to intermediate

When the basics start feeling automatic and you want someone to find the specific patterns costing you points at your level, that's an intermediate camp. We're building those now.

Roughly DUPR 3.0 to 3.5.

Questions worth asking.

What skill level is a camp for?

Our camps are built for beginners and advanced beginners — people who have picked up a paddle recently, or played casually for a while and still feel like they're guessing during real points. Every camp groups players in the same skill window, so you're never the slow one and never the bored one.

I don't have a DUPR rating. Can I still come?

Yes. DUPR is the universal pickleball rating, a bit like a golf handicap, and you do not need a published number to attend. When you register we ask two quick self-rating questions and slot you into the right group. If you have never heard of DUPR, that is a good sign this camp is for you.

How big is the group?

Eight players. That is a hard cap, not a target. It is the whole reason a coach can watch every rep you hit and tell you something specific about your game instead of running the same speech for twenty people.

What do I take home?

A written plan from your coach, emailed the week after camp. Their notes from the day, the patterns costing you the most points ranked in order, and a drill for each one with reps and frequency. It is built to keep open on your phone at the court.

I'm in my 60s or 70s. Is this really for me?

Yes, and you will be in good company — most of our players are 50 and up. The pace is structured rather than punishing, there is a proper break between drilling blocks, and drills adapt to any injury or limitation you tell us about when you register.

What if I can't make my camp date?

Cancel any time before camp day for a full refund. One email is all it takes, no questions asked. If we ever have to cancel a camp, you choose between a full refund or full credit toward another date.
